St. Augustine’s School (Limerick Youth Encounter Project) serves predominantly the area of Limerick City, focusing on sub-areas of designated disadvantage, but also and more recently on certain outlying areas of the city, with this change assumed to be arising from regeneration and relocation.
The Youth Encounter project is a specific educational intervention for at-risk young people from principally regeneration communities who have experienced difficulties in mainstream education.
