We run a number of education and training courses namely Safeguarding 1, 2 and 3, Active Leadership and Sports First Aid & Mental Health First Aid.  Through our seminar series we also offer Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities for coaches and teachers.

Limerick Sports Partnership

The key functions of Limerick LSP is to inform, enable and educate all communities around the benefits of physical activity and associated educational components that can be developed following successful engagement with our key target groups. Some programmes are delivered primarily as a means of engaging the young people to better look after their health and wellbeing. Additional developments and outcomes are explored through educational elements i.e. sports leadership, volunteering in sport and pathways to further education or enhanced capacity within the club and community environment. The Sports Development Officers consult through focus groups on types of programmes and initiatives to benefit the individuals and their family where possible.
