The focus of our work is to improve the lived experience of children and young adults in the care system and positively contribute to the development of care services, locally, nationally and internationally for the benefit of children and young adults, their families and the professionals who work with them.

Target Group

EPIC, is a national organisation that works with and for children and young people who are currently living in state care or who have experience of living in care. EPIC can work with young adults up to the age of 26.

Referral

Any young person who is in care or has care experience has a right to access EPIC’s National Advocacy Service. Young people can self-refer or be referred by social workers, social care workers, youth workers, birth parents, foster parents or by other agencies involved with the young person. However before a referral is sent, EPIC will always ask that consent is sought from the young person/ young adult before the referral is sent.
