Summary of Topics Covered:
We are hosting “How Safe Are Your Kids?”, an evening specifically for parents to raise awareness of the very real challenges children face online today.
We want to have an open and honest conversation about issues including social media, explicit content, online bullying and screen time, while also looking at what parents can do to keep their children safer and what action is being taken at Government level.
We are delighted to have two excellent guest speakers joining us:
Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport Patrick O’Donovan and Mick Moran CEO Irish Internet Hotline.
The event is open to parents of children of all ages, because online safety is an issue that affects every family.
It is about bringing our community together to educate, inform and support parents.
